U-Boat Worx Charter is a subsidiary of U-Boat Worx. The U-Boat Worx story began in 2005 in the Netherlands where it continues to design and manufacture the most capable submarines conceivable. U-Boat Worx first offered charter services in 2011 and is operating this services under “U-Boat Worx Charter” since 2018.
The wide range of U-Boat Worx models includes manned personal submarines that can accommodate from 1 to 11 persons and operate to depths of 100 meters up to 3,000 meters. At the moment the charter fleet consists of a Super Yacht Sub 3 and C-Explorer 3 submersible.
U-Boat Worx is dedicated to continuous support and growth within the global market for manned submersibles, whether it be for individuals, commercial/research/scientific survey or underwater film makers.
U-Boat Worx has grown year on year and evolved to become the largest builder of private submarines. The Netherlands is a country renowned for its marine engineering and this heritage continues with the founding of U-Boat Worx by Bert Houtman.

Every U-Boat Worx submersible is designed, engineered and built to the highest possible standards and certified by the leading classification society, DNV GL.
In addition to U-Boat Worx’ stringent internal quality control and assurance procedures, every submarine is subjected to extensive and exhaustive testing including hydro-static pressure tests and material qualifications prior to in-house bench testing, followed by harbour then full sea trials before final delivery.
